President Woodrow Wilson to thank for officially declaring the second Sunday in May a national holiday back in 1914. Something tells me he wasn’t juggling end-of-year school ceremonies, dance recitals, or youth sports when he made that call. Since Avery's birthday party is this Saturday, I plan to reside on the couch with a "mom-osa" catching up on my HBO all day Sunday. And I can without guilt. It's my/our day, after all...
