Happy Friday everyone!
I've never been so happy to be back home in Boca Raton. And that's saying a lot considering we are in the (literal) heat of summer! I've been living down in Miami at UHealth over the past week helping to care for a family member
recovering from serious cancer surgery. I am exhausted. And overwhelmed. And generally scared of the uncharted road ahead filled with speech therapy, feeding tube feeds, post-surgical appointments and radiation. If you have any experience dealing with this, will you reply to this email? I'd love any words of encouragement or general advice. I've gotten so many inspiring DM's from my @modernbocamom followers, so why not move the conversation over to email too?
