My first full week of caregiving is officially in the books. I had no idea how much of a mental game it would be—just as much as a physical
one. We’re counting down the days until my close family member’s surgery, and I’m praying for continued strength for all of us. Balancing motherhood, work, and around-the-clock caregiving isn’t easy. But I'm doing the best I can—one day, one deep breath (and glass of wine) at a time.
